Last week I participated in a two-day workshop facilitated by Karroll K. Alexander www.thealexanderkgroup.com. With five (5) classmates, I had an opportunity to present nine (9) times before the videotape and get customized feedback immediately. Talk about a powerful experience. The Videotape doesn't fib! It was a humbling and powerful experience to see myself present and interact with my audience. Yes, the consistent advice I got was "slow down, use more vocal variety and engage with my audience on a deeper level." What are your plans for self-development this year? I highly recommend Karroll's workshop. You are always presenting! You are always selling!

Connie I couldn't agree more about effectively communicating. While we all "communicate", who is judged more on their communication and delivery skills than the Professional Salesperson? They must have technical skills, knowledge and experience. Shouldn't they also be Effective Communicators? What value is the product or service to the customer if the Sales Pro doesn't connect? Are poor Communication Skills a part of Sales Call Reluctance?
Whether it's my program or another, fine tune your communication and delivery skills. Sales Pros aren't always privy to the reason for the "no". Make sure your communication skills is not part of the reason.
